As always votes in after the match and before @2359 on Thursday

A disappointing performance in the FA cup 1st round split some opinions on the POTM however GUTHRIE scored the majority and takes the 3 points for the gold position. The remaining votes were shared equally by SOWERBY,BURGE,FOX and even by BALDING (voted where it is deemed no-one was good enough)

Onto happier results and back in the league for Gillingham and POTS leader HOSKINS was working his magic once again and scores the 3 points for POTM. 2nd & 3rd were shared by SHERRING & SOWERBY.

Not much movement in the overall table and top 3 remain the same with Hoskins extending is lead and looking to run away with it this year.

CHESTERFIELD SUMMARY

Guthrie received 6 votes and awarded 3 points
Sowerby,Burge,Fox & Balding all received 1 vote and awarded 0.75 points each

GILLINGHAM SUMMARY

Hoskins received 6 votes and awarded 3 points
Sherring & Sowerby received 2 votes and awarded 1.5 points each
Bowie,Odimayo & McWilliams received 1 votes however not awarded any points.

Hoskins  Cool

Sowerby. In amongst a team of class performances, another immense and regularly unsung showing.

McWilliams

Adimayo looks a real asset though and as always I thought Mr Sowerby was great.

Lots of good performances today but I'm going for Bowie who's tireless running carved them open time after time.

After a performance like that it seems harsh to pick one single player as motm. However I will go for Kieron Bowie who ran his socks off and must have been exhausted by the time he came off. He laid on the first, created two chances for Pinnock and with better finishing could have had a few himself.

He really is beginning to look a player and I hope we can keep him until the end of the season.

McWilliams definitely the motm for me. Just a shame about another yellow card.

Honestly want to give it to multiple players but Bowie just edges it from McWilliams for me. In terms of hold-up play, workrate & pace I think that's one of the best centre-forward displays I've seen for this club in a while. Do not think we need to sign a target-man!

Absolute class all over the pitch. You could literally give it to any of them without complaint. Sowerby and McWilliams were so good. I’m going with Odimayo though, just.

Between McWilliams and Bowie.
As he ensured he was available to play for us my vote goes to Bowie.

Bowie - made them look very pedestrian!
Thought the midfield to a man were excellent! Sherring also good as was Guthrie who captained by example. Burge impressively solid.
Like many could go on!h

With the chron guy (James) - both Bowie and McWilliams Id have also given 9.5 - McWilliams would have got a 10/10 if he'd finished his one on one. So McWilliams for me!
