He hardly trains and can only play 20 minutes without his knees blowing up . That is fact .

Danny told me the same himself at the end of season dinner

If he did, and he signed a 2 year contract on 3k a week, furthers my wish to get him out the club.

Again, if this is the case we clearly didn't do our research ether and hopefully JB and Co will learn from it.

Any news on potential signings, or are we going to continue dissecting the players under contract? Hylton is a Cobblers player for another year whether people like it or not

The lead source on Hylton isn’t renowned for their accuracy on Cobblers matters! You do appear to be at your happiest with a ‘Glass half Empty’ attitude? Most of us seem to be basking in the promotion triumph. I find it strange that some have no hesitation in promoting a negative attitude!

I find your presumption and arrogance quite astonishing. You cannot read intonation and tone on a forum, and your interpretation off mine couldn't be more off the mark.

You know absolutely nothing about me or my happiness, certainly not based off few comments on this forum.

If Barnsley go up, James Norwood would be a cracking signing.

He certainly would. Unless he does his ACL in the next half an hour though I can't see it!

thanks mate -
i have said the same thing for ages .
Hylton cannot start games because he can’t last long .
When he does  play his knee blows up .
He was no different at Luton and they provided false information on him . It was however a major blunder signing him - everyone realises that .

Would love for us to be in for Tyler Walker, released by cov, lost his way a little with a bad portsmouth loan. But has bags of goals in him

With the lack of activity and rumours so early in the window we are limited to wishful thinking. Carlos Mendes-Gomes is out of contract (I believe at Luton). With their promotion I would assume he is unlikely to feature for them a division higher.

Had an outstanding season at L2 a few years back for Morecambe and did well (1 goal in 3) in his stop start campaign for Fleetwood last season. No doubt he will have a ton of suitors who can pay more, but that sort of player would be ideal for us. Got a move up the divisions, has yet to work for him so needs to resettle, can play across the front line and gets you goals.

At least this has cleared up the mystery of why he signed for us!

All of those celebrating getting to the Premier League but not to play in it.
Any of those released that we could use?

Harry Kane cost more than Luton’s entire wage bill last season.
Getting their wage structure right is going to be important.

I’m sure some of those will attract interest.

I think maybe other than Hylton, I don't remember there being any rumours last year earlier than about 24 hours before a signing was done.
1st movement was in the 3rd week of June, and once that happened there was a string of 5 or 6 ins and contracts signed/rejected within two weeks, so we've got a little bit of time before things get busy again probably.

I would imagine the Club will start talking to players from this week onwards, its just been half term week, giving players and managers much needed, and deserved time with their families., Would expect Brady and co to be back at work this week.
