Cobblers currently joint third favourites at 12-1 behind Gillingham (9-1) and Bratford (10-1) with Will Hills?

Why would bradford go up :S? They finished mid table... Ok they put in a performance against us with to good goals but title contenders  Undecided You would expect it with the ground and attendances but can't see it myself! what a bunch of @@@@ they are as well!

Why would bradford go up :S?
Because they now have a Manager who knows what he's doing and has a proven track record at this level.

I quite fancy Gillingham to go down (nothing to do with Danny Jackman, of course). They were poor last year, and have a new manager who's got them relegated the last time he did the job there.

I'm at University in Kent and saw Gillingham a fair bit last season. There is absolutely no way they will get relegated, all they have to do is sort out their away form and they will be promotion candidates.
And Hessenthaler led them to their highest ever finish, before they got relegated from the CHAMPIONSHIP, a division they had never been in before. A bit different to League Two with the likes of Stevenage and Cheltenham.

They're always going to have short odds because the bookies are covering their backs; Bradford have a lot more fans than any other side in this divisio and, with most promotion bets placed by fans of that team, they'll be getting a lot of bets on Bradford. If they do long odds and Bradford do then go up, they'd lose a lot of money.

It's the same reason England were third favourites to win the World Cup in this country before it started; everyone knew we had little to no chance but the bookies couldn't afford to pay out much cash on the vast number of winning bets, had England actually won it.

Betting on a League Two league winner is like buying a lottery ticket.

I'd imagine a fair few put money on Notts last season after their takeover...

Bayo is a bit of a risk at 14s, he might not even be in this league!

They only just won it though thanks to Rochdale totally giving up once they had been promoted.

Surprised Benyon is at 40/1. Even though he didn't score he was always a threat to our defence at Sixfields.
Also surprised John O'Flynn is at 22/1 considering he moved to Bristol City on July 1st
