I didn't like him either but I don't think he was overated, he was a brilliant player and, yes, a cheat. I still think the best ever was George Best.

I dont think that he was over rated, to be fair he was superb at his game, and he danced around Terry Fenwick when he scored THAT goal, but there was a dark side to him.
I dont recall Thierry Henry getting the same level of abuse when he allowed the ball to run up his arm against Ireland.
