Jim Steinman composer of "Bat out of Hell" has died aged 73. I think the Duke of Edinburgh covered a couple of his songs.

Les McKeown of the Bay City Rollers has said Bye Bye Baby at the age of 65. I met Les back in the 90's in a hotel bar near Belfast, the Rollers had played a gig and arrived back at the hotel around 1.00 a.m. and joined us in the bar, I think we went to bed around 4.00, told us some great stories and was a good guy. RIP Les.

Michael Collins, the third member of Apollo 11, that put Armstrong and Aldrin on the moon. That is an achievement.

The flamboyant Frank Worthington aged 72.
I used to watch him regularly at Filbert Street, when Cobblers weren't playing at home.  R.I.P.

Frank Worthington
Brian Docker writes:A few years ago I played in a charity golf day at the Warwickshire GC, where Frank Worthington was one of the guests and I had the pleasure of sitting next to him at dinner. He told the story of a goal he scored against Liverpool. In front of the Kop he nutmegged Tommy Smith, the defender, before putting the ball in the back of the net. Tommy said: “Do that again and I’ll break your neck.” Frank asked the ref if he’d heard the threat, to which the ref replied, “I did, Frank, but I don’t think he was talking to me.”

Max Griggs. I once worked on his Jag, and whilst the carpet and sound dead pads were out, the floor was graffed , and then covered up again. This was during his futile time at R&D. If only he knew what was written underneath the carpets....
RIP though fella, he tried his best.

Only just heard this and very sad news. He was clearly very ill a couple or more years ago when his voice was awful. No age at all.
