Does it matter? These things happen in football all the time. At least it wasn't Peterborough, and that has happened before.  Wink

Would have more respet with Bayo if he had gone there.  At least it is a league above and he is hardly a cobblers fan who would have an issue with the P1sh.

Did cobblers fans believe that?  So much mad love he didnt want to stay.  Or at least wanted even longer to see who would offer him a contract elsewhere.

Northampton or Swansea?  Where is his mad love really - Swansea.  Would have ran all the way from Northampton (Well London) to sign for them.  He would have signed for Peterborough if they wanted him.  Same with MK Dons.

I thought Bayo was offered another contract, he said he would come back to Sammo by a certain date and didn't.  Therefore it was Bayo's decision to leave.

I don't understand a move to Southend but I would wager that it was the best offer he could get now (i.e his "bigger" offer didn't materialise).

Just had a poke around on the net, and is there actually any basis in fact that says Bayo's looking to join Southend?  With their financial woes, and general shambolicness, it would be surprising, and their fans seem to be saying exactly the same.  I'm not saying it won't happen, but I'm just not sure what's given this story legs.

Anyone with access to a working cobblers player able to say what Sammo is discussing on the OS about 'the trialist' (AKA Hall). Is he going to be a likely signing then?

He says he has made him an offer and now the ball is in his court.

He also says he is training Monday and wants to play Tuesday night.... Sammo also mentions that he after a couple of players but they are unlikely to be sorted before Tuesday nights game against the Poppies

Hopefully he can have a similar effect to previous "veteran" full backs with time spent at Midlands clubs likes Lyttle, Ullathorne.
