I’ve only seen Branston play for us once but in games against us he’s been frustratingly solid in the most. I am not in anyway saying we should sign the bloke. Personally I would prefer someone else, but it is leadership we lack and despite everything that is ugly about his football he is every inch a leader on the pitch.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but Darren Byfield has been released by Walsall, he has links to GJ at Bristol City... Could he return to Sixfields?

Hibs striker, apparently not in CC's plans and someone he's intending to offload. Big lad, targetman, played most of his career as a squad player in the SPL. My dad is a part-time Hibee, I've been to Easter Road several times with him and have a source up there. The guy in question told me CC was going to be appointed manager there a few days before it was made official, but he's also been wrong about things in the past so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Scott McGleish released by Leyton Orient.... Should we bring him back (again)? Scores goals but a bit too old imo

McGleish is 37 now. Could still be a handful for defences at this level but would be a huge risk in just a playing role. As a player-assistant manager, however...

Hardly prolific and likely to want a fair wage. Can't see it happening!

I don't know if its been mentioned, but Owain Fon Williams, i remember him being highly rated at stockport, would be a good replacement for Dunn? 26 years old aswell, decent age!

I am in favour of a player assistant manager if it means we get a decent player that we may not otherwise but I'm not sure McGleish has the temprament for management.

I thought Branston was excellent against us, superb leadership skills too.
Would be happy to sign him or someone with similar attributes.

Dean Brill has been released by Oldham Athletic, his father in law drives for my company & they live in the MK area so a local connection there.

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

Reckon he could still score a few, but not 20+ like he used to, too old.

he'd be awesome, considering the SPL is championship standared, he'd walk this league. i reckon he'd want 4k a week though. would be on the most wages.

Yes and no. If you watched much of it you'd see the standard varies wildly. Rangers and Celtic have the quality of players you'd find in the bottom half of the Premiership, at the other end of the league Hamilton are just as bad as anything you've seen in League Two this season, and the other teams are somewhere in between at varying points on the spectrum. I'd say the current Hibs side is about top 6 League One standard, and Nish is a fringe player there. He wouldn't demand £4k a week, I doubt he's on half that now.
