I think he'd want £2200.

That's a very precise guess there, sir.  Wink

More a wish list than realistic but I wouldn't mind a central midfield of Tommy Miller and Richie Jones who have been released at Shef W and Oldham respectively.

Remember Southend having a tall curly haired centre back, Bilel Mohsni who looked pretty useful.

Yes and no. If you watched much of it you'd see the standard varies wildly. Rangers and Celtic have the quality of players you'd find in the bottom half of the Premiership, at the other end of the league Hamilton are just as bad as anything you've seen in League Two this season, and the other teams are somewhere in between at varying points on the spectrum.

ye fair enough, that makes more sence. probably somes it up correctly that.

John akinde released from bristol city, I'm sure this has been mentioned once as a possible...sorry if I repeated old news but I've no time or desire to trawl old posts....could be a decent ex gj servant.... Grin

Heard, almost from the horses mouth, that Paul Trollope is expecting to be handed the reigns at Swindon. He has apparently already spoken to Akinde about signing on there.

Akinde has also been linked to Gillingham. Popular lad.

Not sure if the linking between us and him is anything more than an echo from January personally.

Considering how good Commons and Hooper look in the SPL, I'd say Rangers and Celtic are top half of Championship standard AT BEST. Look how poor Kris Boyd has performed this year, and he was a machine in the SPL. My favourite scout, Football Manager, suggests that Nish would score a hatful at our level  Tongue

Kenny Miller who struggled at both Wolves and Derby in the Championship couldn't stop scoring for Rangers  Roll Eyes

I'd say the current Hibs side is about top 6 League One standard, and Nish is a fringe player there. He wouldn't demand £4k a week, I doubt he's on half that now.

Yep pretty much as i had it. Oh and Colin Nish, no thanks! Nothing special about him.

Reuben Reid has been released by Oldham. Not the most prolific striker but I remember he was decent a few years ago.
