Yes, Ben Tozer has been living near Daventry with ....his brother!
So, as he has family locally maybe he'll stay if offered a contract? He hailes from Devon I recall, so we're even nearer to his spiritual home.
Old Trafford?

I think the point is about before he was told to look for a new club. If you believe rumours, he'd apparently already got a new club fixed up long before knowing his fate. Interesting what GJ said regarding him, stating that he wasnt in his plans and would rather not go into the details any further. So a player with still a year to run on the contracts goes off speaking to other clubs, perhaps this is partly the reason why he's out the door - Unless you're given permission to speak to other clubs then there is some sort of breach of contract?
So you've read the interviews and read the rumours and you've decided to believe the rumours out of the two? Even if he had sorted himself out with a new club, unless they're willing to stump up there is no point as we hold his registration for another 12 months. Which must mean he was told to find a new club and that we'd let him go for nothing if he can do so. But then again, I suppose the chance to stick the boot into somebody is sometimes too much to pass up

Been reading the Dagenham forum and have come to the conclusion Akinde is just what we need; http://www.daggersforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1969&hilit=akinde&start=10Admittedly a poor finisher, but he's supposedly a nightmare to play against. It's pretty obvious you won't get someone in that mould who is a profilic scorer as well, otherwise they'd be in a much higher league. But at 6"2 I reckon his directness could open up the type of chances Harrad excels at putting away. Would also help in the games where we have little option to play route one and utilize his power.

It was posted on twitter without naming the player. When asked who the player involved was he gave clues and I guessed it was Gilly... The person on twitter is someone I know personally but he wouldn't reveal his source!!
Clarence??

I was told the following last night. We are close to signing dave hibbert. We were trying to sign him on loan when we got collis and nana. Stumbling block may be a fee. If hibbert signs I would be surprised if adebola did too. Guess it will be one or tother.

Why are all these rumours about Strikers anyway? It's about the one place we don't really need to strengthen, especially if Bauza signs.

Dave Hibbert dislocated his knee in November, should be back in training around Aug/Sept from what I've heard.
Similar situation to Shaun Batt (hopefully ready for pre-season)which is the only name that has been whispered my way as a posssible loan signing next season.

Sproule would be spot on then Katie can play in the middle. That ginger haired chron reporter mentioned Branston the other day, I know he had a good season, but I'd rather not. I've heard the brazilain keeper GJ had at city mentioned but isn'tt he knocking on a bit? Davis is talking to oxford.

Anyone remember after Torquay game Guy Branston (after the traditional media bashing) - then said some very supportive things about club, GJ and fans and said would love to play in front of those sized crowds every week - or something to that effect which made me think he was angling for a return.
Love or hate him - he did get into the Div team of the season. Type of CB we need?

One good season after being shipped out all over the shop on-loan and eventually dropping into non-league. He was s***e when he was here and I very much doubt he's improved. He just happened to be the product of a well organised settled defence at Torquay, if you put him into our back four last season he'd have been absolutely humiliated.

Kind of difficult to ignore it when you spend half of your life in Milton Keynes surrounded by their plastic fans!!
