He's not really a regular. Actually is a decent footballer is Bully, got a good footballing brain, sadly loves a beer and a burger eh Bully I agree, Bully was a decent footballer, and the balls that he played up to the front men were normally very accurate, but unfortunately he was a bit too heavy to play league football.

Bit harsh on Dyer. I thought he did ok here. Certainly wouldn't regard him as s***.
Talking of players dropping down to the non-league. Good piece in the Chron the other day about Scott Cross. Not sure I agree with him regarding some of his quotes. There were a fair few of the young lads including Morison and Cross who liked to party a bit too much. I should know I was our pretty much every Friday and Saturday and their attitudes weren't right.
Morison was quoted as saying that he thought he'd made it. That's the problem, too many lower league players think they've made it because they are named on the subs bench for half a dozen games.
I don't feel sorry for Scott Cross, he had an opportunity which he wasted. However, it would be good to see him bounce back!
Scott Cross was released because he told the club he wasn't going to be in for pre-season training on the date required because he was going away on a lads trip abroad. Something tells me he wasn't too bothered about becoming a footballer.

Bully could hit the ball pretty hard also. That wasn't utilised enough IMO.
Interestingly Corby don't seem to know his name, calling him Leon Dolman.

Personally I didn't think Dyer had enough about his game to warrant a new deal. Yes he could pass the ball but he wasn't very mobile, not very strong and weak in the tackle.

I was told the problems were with something legally available at supermarkets and other places, but I have no proof either way.

It's a shame because Cross had a striker's instinct but the wrong attitude toward nurturing it.
