When McKenzie retires, which won't be long, and if another striker gets an Injury this decision might come round and bite us.

If it gets to the point where we're longing for the return of Seb Harris and can't get anyone better in, we'll be in some deep sh*t anyway.

No disrespect to him and good luck to him at Nuneaton, but some players have to find their level and his is not League Two.

FROM ALL ACCOUNTS : harris started up top, won nearly all headers and held ball up well also scored but was called of side Huh? and nuneaton was unlucky to loose the game  kev wilkin was happy with his performance  and stated he was one of the better players today and deserved a goal .
BUT lets dont forget a good result for the cobs today with ten men Smiley

He is staying there until the end of the season. Unlikely to come back I'd assume.

Fair play to the lad. If he can earn himself a permanent contract at Nuneaton, he's probably going to be playing regularly in the Conference next season, which is a decent level to be playing at and gives him the opportunity to get a professional contract with another club if he impresses. The comparison with Slowe is unfair- he'll never make it in professional football. Harris might.

Well seems the end for harris in a cobs shirt hope he does good at nuneaton good luck seb for the future
well now back onto the cobs well well well !!!!!! what can i say we struggle to find a striker in form  so use make shift ones,
so can any one tell me  why on earth was harris not given the chance to prove himself in the position  he travelled half way around the world to play for the cobs  as far as i can see he only actually played a total of 4 hours first team football up front and scoring one time were all other strikers we have had has been given a fair crack at the whip it just don't make sense to me, again we have let a player down who would have died for the team he loves

You really can't do anything other than to wish him the very best with it. I hope for his sake he becomes an established prolific striker, but then again if that happens he'll be a Steve Morison and then we won't be able to afford to get him back!

He wasn't deemed good enough by Sammo or Johnson. I saw him regularly at reserve team level and he couldnt cut it there. His only attribute was being able to head a ball and that doesnt make you a league footballer. Are you related to him, cant work out why you would hark on about such a mediocre footballer if you werent

Hello All, I have just seen his interveiw on the official site, He seems like a very genuine man to me, I have never seen him play, but he says he is a workhourse and he should be back in England come the summer, I hope he makes it with an English side. One more comment, he is as you all know not english but he spraks a lot better english than most english footballers. That says a lot about our education system!

Talking of better English, according to you he spraks and is a workhourse, and English doesn't always have a capital letter, so that says a lot about our education system, too!
As to Harris, I'd say he's had long enough to prove himself, although I still wish him the very best.

Good luck to the lad. Would of liked to see him play more after the goal against Cheltenham.

I really like the idea of a workhourse - someone who works really hard but lives in cheap accommodation?!

Not English?  So what is his native language then?

As for "would of" perhaps someone could explain this grammatical construct!  I wood have, but then I'm merely a humble lumberjack.
