Agree but we need to know what his exit is going to look like and what debt provisions will be in place.
KT will be gone before the ink dries so we need to plan for that.
Look I’m all for free enterprise BUT when it’s close to home we need to see our fair share of the land deal, an example could be top tiers for the North and South stands, investment elsewhere, training facilities etc.
I think that is hugely aspirational.
I can see best case, they get some land to flog for a profit. It covers the stand completion, the ‘debt’ and some £ to spare….not sure anything is worth £100m. Then they would probably sell it for £1.
It’s just seemed all along that they want/need the money from the land to finish the stand, so let’s see if that isn’t the case and that the diggers move in. Even more so as they’ve got deeper in.
I think it’s naive to think they’ve ever wanted to create a thriving 24/7 MK style set up and it’s certainly not the climate to attempting to, especially in conjunction with our flailing council.
