It is starting to look increasingly like an enigma wrapped in a riddle. Having said that, fraud cases are notoriously Protracted.
I know there is still a push in legal circles to have specialist jury's just to hear fraud cases. Imagine from a jurors perspective, trying to sift through the amount of very specialist information in a case like this if it goes to court. Is there an up to date figure on costs so far?
I know they have been trying to get this passed for quite a few years now. It all stems from a case involving some serious white collar crime where the defendants basically walked because the jury were bamboozled by the defense team.
