At this stage, with our own fans, very little
But it has been done / being done, off the top of my head at Plymouth, Exeter, Hearts, & Stevenage for a start.
Plymouth supporters raised £1.4m for their supporters bar.
Hearts raised £15m !!! (yes i know they are bigger)
What is the alternative? Stick with developer owners? always on the edge of them pulling the plug and it all comes crashing down, with no progress off or on the pitch?
FFS Derek go and find out. Instead of guessing and talking off the top of your head try and get an indication of what you might be working with. Given the average attendance I reckon if 40% of respondents do so positively then you are about bang on the money. Even if it’s only 10% then at least you know what you may be working with? Who knows it may even be more than 40%. You criticise the owners for doing a half arsed job of doing things and then do it yourself. The alternative my friend is that you take a leap of faith blindfolded and you go down the tubes and take the club with it. At least go into it with your eyes wide open. If it’s unrealistic fine, drop it and try something else. Go and do some research and create some momentum, you may end up in a better position than you imagine. To reiterate, count me in.
