Absolutely - for me ever since Cardoza (not KT) robbed us of the £10m and started a totally inadequate east stand the whole saga has become a red herring and intelligent expansion of the stadium should be the way forward.

I don't agree that simply increasing capacity increases attendances (even with a massive marketing and local PR campaign it hasn't really worked at Milton Keynes has it?) - however looking at many L1 clubs we could easily sell another 500 -1000 seats for home games so that should be a priority and I'm pretty sure provide a better ROI than spending up to £4 million on the East stand
MK dons have 3 x the gate takings from  away followings than ntfc, we'll that's £700,000 per season right there.. a better atmosphere = increased gates
A more professional staduim = increased gates.
Increased gates = better players = increased gates.

Increased gates = more revenue = better players= better league position = more involvement from investors..
And so on..
To get this started you first need to be rid of cdnl..
Cdnl= stagnation= poor gates= poor infrastructure = bad players= poor league  position  = building debts to outsider spectators cdnl= the exact  bull5hit we've suffeted for the past 20 years.

Get em gone...

Be fair! They may have £12.7m liabilities but they have £300k in the bank and a nice stadium.

Ikea are looking to sell more garden furniture etc so they will probably need a new showroom with grass. 'Ok we'll have our stadium back!' Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I don’t mean to be facetious, but on the one hand you have Random talking about doubling the capacity so people can get to sit next to their mates and get the best seats. The problem being that when you get near to capacity you will have exactly the same problem with the bigger stadium. So in effect you need to double the capacity, but ensure it’s half full to resolve the issues. Then Beds who puts forward a club to aspire to, who have the dream stadium but are 12 million in debt and face the very possibility of exchanging places with us in our respective leagues at the end of the season. At the end of the day they might be right, but I think I have a valid reason to be sceptical. Perhaps all of the hysterical criticism is born of wishful thinking rather than conviction, but it’s only my opinion.

The weird thing to me  is that despite a larger stadium , larger crowds  etc in the year to June 21 we had a turnover of £4.4M , they,MK £3.8M.  In year to 2020 NTFC £5.3M, MK £4.5M.

Nice front gates though. Very good at keeping the Hoi Polloi out.

PS Just got my Ticket for Donny and apparently only 400 left.

400?? We only had an allocation of 711 and it was said we'd sold 600 earlier this week. We must have had an increased allocation, or have we really only sold 311?
