If and its and IF KT could make 10 million from the land (total hypothetic question) what would your expectations be in terms of what 'we' get out of it?

Enough to finish the East Stand?

Costs dictates that the seats are left exactly where they are, also being the away end, you need to make provisions that allow less able fans to be seated. Areas of terracing built up behind can cater for those who wish to stand and create a big match atmosphere. Benefits are that while in league 1 you can divide and have a shared south stand and use the overflow for extra visitors if available. Expanding the North in the same manner can commence at a later date in readiness for the Championship.
Not sure why you are quoting me there talking about the away end when I am talking about the home end. Let's talk about specific costs when they are actually produced. I've actually lost track of this thread now lol. Oh yeah the ground could probably be expanded a bit and just waiting to hear what Thomas & Bower's plans are going forward. That's about the long and short of it.

Be good to have a clear costing of how much it would cost to demolish and rebuild. Or even take off the Cardoza effort stuck on?

Just a note of caution. Assuming the council give the go ahead for the lease issue to be resolved and reverted to NTFC, this is purely giving their legal team the green light to sort it.
How long it will take their legals to actually pull their fingers out is another thing.

But, completed to what specifications? Let us not forget that one of the reasons NBC agreed the MoU with KT's group (which included clearing us of the 10 million debt): "They have funds in place and intend to complete the stand."

I'd forget executive boxes for now. I question the payback, unless a decent hotel is built on the doorstep and then that could have conference facilities itself. I'd double the capacity of the North and make it all safe standing. Whack a load of extra seats in the East and finish it so it doesn't feel as though you are visiting Beirut. This would allow extra away allocation if/when required. Probably enough to get us to 11k+. If the lease is resolved and there is no land to be had then I'd be happy if he just finishes the stand. His £4m should do that very comfortably.

As long as the overall is no more than £4m, that is all that he indicated is/was available and 'promised' when taking the club.

He was quite clear that he/they had the funds in place. And that development of land was not necessary. So if he gets a bonus in that area down the line then would you expect him to spend it for the benefit of NTFC?

If it's in NTFC's name yes, at the moment it isn't?

Tonight's the night then people...
Hopefully, once lease issue is finally resolve, the club will perhaps issue a statement saying the club is no longer for sale? and plans will shortly be published for what the East Stand will finally look like...
Just want the monstrosity finished so we ain't gotta look at it in it's current embarrassing state...

Tonight isn't when NBC will have done the legals. Tonight is just confirming that the legals can go ahead. The ball is in NBC's court until their legal team sort out the lease.

Yes, but no reason why NTFC cannot proceed once the lease has been officially agreed....paperwork will follow NBC can't retract it once they've verbally agreed & it's in the public domain

So if you invested £4m to revamp the East Stand would you not expect to see some sort of benefit to the investors. I wish you were the benefactor as am sure you would be incredibly generous, fairminded etc and want no safeguard on beneficial returns.

He may have changed his mind since arriving with the ‘promise’ of £4m. A lot of water under the bridge since then.

£4,000,000 is a bit more than a few breeze blocks some cladding, toilets, boxes and a lick of Maggie. What's the chances of getting £1.5m job masquerading as £4,000,000? Gold plated taps fittings and fixtures😉 If we really have that sum to play with, used more wisely we could do a whole lot more with it than an extortionatly expensive shell fit out and really make this wind fall work for us. Before a brick is laid a full honest and open discussion with our support base (nodding dogs need not apply) as to what is in the clubs best interests are essential to avoid the usual large serving of horses arse that is normally served up. Some big questions need answering and a strong supporters trust.
