Seconded! I won’t have that. Everything that gets said on this forum is absolutely vital to both the likelihood of development and the type of ground we end up with. Don’t you realise, hardly a day goes by that multi million pound potential investors dont trawl this site for inspiration on how to progress the club? I also blame Beds for the current stalemate. An average of 2 posts a day on the subject is nowhere near enough. He just doesn’t get it, the more you say it the more likely it is to happen, everyone knows that!

After 25 years at Sixfields in which not a single investment into improving its infrastructure has been made, makes it very unlikely for those remaining in charge or new owners to come in completely ignorant to our needs again and go on ignoring the clubs urgent need for growth but preferring to wing it in hope that 6000 plus fans squeeze into the a tiny 7500 all seater uninspiring ground for league 2 games against the likes if Morecambe and forest Green hoping to win promotion and go again in league 1 believing they will buck the trend and our hopelessly inadequate ground isn't found wanting for the 6th time in 25 years... Im of the belief we are currently being touted around for sale at multi millions and for investors thats not very attractive when you think that both previous owners picked up the club for shirt buttons and haven't advanced the the club on jot on or off the pitch but these new owners will be expected to pay for building up the club. It could be a few more years of league 2 dross in an inadequate ground until we move forward, but we will get there eventually.

I’m no master of physics but why do 6000 fans have to squeeze into a 7,500 seater stadium or is simply a damming reflection on growing obesity 😀

I’ve never defended that - I just accept there is little I can actually do to change that situation.

Actually the missing words were five thousand eight hundred and thirty, if we’re talking average gate? I can’t believe you were quoting the best case scenario to make the point, it would be so out of character?

That average gate you refer to is one from the Sixfields in it current substandard non league state that has serious limitations that directly effects the the amount of visitors attracted to it and limited capacity forcing restrictions on admission that doesn't allow the promotion of the most attractive games to new supporters to avoid regulars being lock out. Despite what kelvin thinks, regularly having 8 or 9000 in a 12000 professional looking staduim is better than 6500 plus in a shoe box looking restricted one.

Winning, attractive football attracts crowds, not stadium infrastructure ….. ask Portsmouth fans.

Only if you sell the extra at the normal price rather than MKs deal a seat for a £1 for local businesses or £5 for other games.

Brighton didnt always sell out the 6600 withdean but sell 30,000 at the amex.. ok extreme example but would our support base and those visiting fans chose a more professional football stadium to watch their football team? If you think watching football in a crap stadium is preferential.. fire away, Im all ears😉

You are so so wrong on visiting fans choosing to go to games due to a stadium.

Bizarre! 1. Winning will not attract ''crowds'...we can't accommodate them! 2. Portsmouth? A worse analogy couldn't be imagined..they fill Fratton Park to watch the grass grow!
