I checked with the Trust yesterday following your latest criticism of its stance concerning the East Stand and wider development. Guess what? Not a peep has been heard by the Trust from you or your supporting cast about dissatisfaction on the issue. No further comment needed.
Presumably they mean apart from all the negative comments on the original Facebook post itself?

VintageCobbler causes so much damage to the Trust. There's some good people involved with the Trust, a real shame.
Not everyone wants to be a football hipster.

50+1, tcobb whereas you want to continue with the same old busted flush of the sugar daddy owner. It's permanently broken for clubs such as the Cobblers. McRitchie, Cardoza and the present owners now closing in on 5 years since their arrival - ask yourself what have they done for the club?
If your model is the panacea for the clubs future why have you, or anybody else, not done anything to take control of the club on any of the many opportunities over recent decades? Words are cheap action earns respect. KT and Bower stood up when the time was right! Using your words; 'what have you done for the club'?

Agreed Compared with many clubs in the current situation KT and the club have as you said stood up and have financially supported the short term ambition and I notice the usual suspects so beguiled by their hatred can’t offer a single gracious comment

Do you mean Bower? His rather impressive empire is no more than a six or seven minute walk from my home in Summertown. Think they have bigger fish than someone saying a partner is 'not a very nice man' I likened him to Dracula...based more on appearance than his business dealings!

I have often thought of sticking a Cobblers sticker on the door when passing, but have never had the nerve.

Layla Moran, upper-middle class stronghold. Sooo Liberal, they embrace all, except when easyJet decide to build a hotel by Summertown shops...now the biggest petion NIMBYS on Earth! Technically, I now live in Sunnymead by the Cherwell, though used to be in the thick of it!

I think I was close enough to have called in for a cuppa on Saturday then...spent a couple of hours at North Oxford bikes! I have a certain Mrs C Lomax as one of my two ward councillors for Daventry DDC here in Barby. She did a very good job a few years back in helping persuade Highways England chop down some very big trees that were annoying my dad due to their location (it had absolutely nothing to do with road safety). A most illiberal action I would have thought?!

One of the most embarrassing polictical spankings I ever witnessed. Poor old Layla, desperately seeking to defend the (un)Liberal stance of then leader, Jo Swineheard. Between Layla, Jo, and that other bad Ed, they managed to totally obliterate their own party.

You are a two faced individual who excels in sniping. To answer your question a lot and a lot more than you can possibly know although you would have readers believe you are very well informed. You are not. Y

Try not to let your rudeness and anger get the better of you. I was merely asking you to examine the route and course of action that you have steadfastly adhered to, and decide whether or not it has reaped any benefits. It looks like any final settlement or course of action will involve the original parties (namely the club and the council), acting off the original course I suggested it would take both on here and at the Trust meeting attended by the Jonathan Nunn. In addition to that, it has been said by numerous people that the club and the council will do what they want, regardless of what the Trust thinks or does. Which was the point that I made abundantly clear would happen at KPWMC when Nunn was there. SO THERE'S A HUGE "PEEP" FOR YOU. My involvement has been to routinely state that the Trust board should involve the membership in any significant action that they intend to undertake. Anything else that you attribute to me is nothing more than window dressing to illustrate a weak point. I remain confident to this day, that had the Trust membership been consulted, it would have saved the board many hours of time and energy, pursuing something that there was little if no appetite for within the main body of supporters. If the club and councils intended course of action now takes place. The Trusts and our thoughts, as I predicted, will become irrelevant. It looks to me like KT and DB have managed to achieve what they initially set out to do. I wish them and the club the very best in that venture. I also hope that the Trust board will now work on a more conciliatory stance towards the club we all love and support. It would be hugely beneficial to see the support canvassed by the club and the Trust in unison, as to how the East stand is developed and what all of us would like to see from that development. Especially for disabled supporters, and the enhancement of all of our match day experiences. Perhaps the Trust could now offer that incentive as an olive branch. Hopefully the club will be equally happy to take a productive stance as well.

Used to live literally around the corner from North Oxford Bikes...next door a bar opened, aptly named the Bicycle Shed. Ok, though predictably pricey! *Edit: I lived around the corner from Summertown Bicycles...can see on Google that North Oxford Bikes is near Jury's Inn and Wolvercote. Around a mile north west!

VC, genuinely not sniping but the current owners have protected the club from outside credit pressure which I am sure you will agree is vital for a lower division club? They have changed managers when they are deemed to be failing at considerable cost and backed each new incumbent significantly in the transfer market. Comparatively to the rest of the clubs in the lower divisions I think they have done all that could be reasonably expected. The club has not progressed on the pitch so despite their efforts that is not great and there has clearly been no progress in infrastructure. They want to sell the club so they are not the future. That being said to protect the club from external credit pressure and a 5 million investment in trying to move the club forward on the pitch also deserves considerable credit comparatively, at least that’s what I think. I happen to believe this is also the view of many other supporters which is perhaps why those who criticise KT aggressively struggle to gain significant support? I think your a decent guy (or gal) motivated by a genuine love for the club but I do struggle to understand your damning assessment of KTs tenure without any acknowledgement whatsoever? As a result I find your views a little unfair?

I come from the same standpoint, I fail to see why certain people deem KT as everything that is evil, I can see that he hasn't done everything promised but then I look where investing in teams and managers over the last few years has kept us going at a decent level. Ok we aren't League 1 at the minute but you have to say there has been improvement in the squad this season and we don't look far away, in fact in a few weeks time we may be back to League 1 and needing a further investment in the squad.
