Seems crystal clear to me, unless I’m missing something? Doesnt seem much goodwill on the part of 5U Sport there so I’m going with my original guess?

So in a nutshell it's all rehashed news from 3-4 years ago. They promised money, it didn't materialise and all went sour. Quiet news day.

I was, and will continue to post as a "fan" in the main body of the board, and as a Trust Director in the specific area...that is my "clear separation".......... unless i'm not allowed to have my own thoughts now?
Of course you are. Even if they, just by pure coincidence, align very tightly with certain others. Think away..

I don’t know if it’s relevant or not. Do you??? If I’ve got something to say and I can prove it, I say it. This all happened ages ago. If there is something new to add, then let’s hear it. Or is this another “oil rises to the top” crock of shyte from the usual suspects. Let’s have a bit of conviction here.

This all started with a rumour on Facebook? I was giving the conversation some context with collateral which was in the media at the time. I find it very hard to believe that no money changed hands, and in the article it mentions a large sum.
Whether this went through the books of NTFC is a matter for other agencies.

Possibly 'Need to Know' is not applicable in this instance?

Another complete guess on my part. But if you follow the logic and money changed hands, with members of 5uSport registered at companies house then the deal would have been done and they would be in control of NTFC? They’re not, so it didn’t? If the news article is to be believed then had 5U Sport had any sort of legal foothold they would have dug their heels in, and they haven’t because they couldn’t?
Listen, as I’ve stated before many times, I don’t believe the current owners offer the brightest future for the club and there are better ways to run football? However for me this is all about a hatred on the part of some for the current regime and a relentless effort to find some kind of impropriety in a desperate attempt to consolidate opinion for change? It’s ridiculous and it’s going nowhere, so my advice is to get over it and concentrate on something that may realistically improve the future of the club? I would suggest that means working with the current regime at this point in time, not alienating them over some irrelevant b0ll0cks? All in my opinion of course, and people are entitled to do what they like, before I get shouted at again.

As a footnote the second aspect of this debate is the opinions of board members of the Trust being posted on here. In the case of GPC, Simon has clearly laid out the ground rules. He in effect wears 2 hats, his activities as a member of the Trust board, and his personal opinion on here which is his right and he insists they are completely separate and unconnected. Whilst it remains his right to set out any ground rules for his role within the Trust and his activities on here and to conduct himself in any manner he sees fit, it is also the right of any parties that may be a subject of that opinion to decide whether to accept those rules? If they don’t then that may, and I emphasise may affect the Trusts relationship with the board of NTFC? Either way I personally think it would be silly to refuse to accept there is a risk attached? That is all I am saying, it’s not a criticism just a point of discussion. On the other hand I may be wrong, it may not matter a t0ss and I certainly don’t mean to offend anyone.

Point taken.....its going to be a balancing act....a supporter for over 40 years and a Trust Board member for two months....its not one or the other in my opinion, a point I have made. Of course, there is risk attached.....we'll see how things go in the next couple of weeks.

Despite my recent posts emphasising caution for what it’s worth I think you will be a significant asset to the Trust and support base, not that my opinion matters?

I doubt the club will have much interest, the same as they don't seem to hold the Trust in a particularly high regard. I'd say they tolerate them more than engage in the truest sense. The issue may arise if any key member of the Trust posts anything 'controversial', depending on the internal dynamics. It's a bit like being a member of any organization and tweeting something racist (extreme example) and the two will definitely be linked. That said, a voluntary Trust 'worker' is hardly employed by the BBC and shouldn't be under some kind of gagging order and as GPC says, he has been a passionate fan for 40 years. I'd also add that any custodian of our club should be subject to scrutiny, especially on the back of our last chancer. Despite the minority on here and on FB etc I'd suggest that they have had an extremely easy time considering the lack of progress on/off the pitch!
