It's true then, we do need to significantly increase capacity. If we double capacity and reduce prices it is a double-whammo.

Just been spotted, Beds walking down the Welly Road, wearing Don Estelle shorts, showcasing his chicken legs. As he clearly has some time off, It should give him lots of time to prepare more of his pointless ramblings. In case youre wondering Beds, I was the one looking out of the window, in the Crown and Cush.

So, what's the latest regarding the trust putting in a bid for the ACV land? They've got until September I believe, so have they sourced backers to finance such a deal? I'm a lifetime trust member, so don't expect to be kept in the loop! Are Cilldara still challenging the original decision or are they teaming up with the trust to formulate a bid? Appreciate KT has had to deal with personal issues over the last few months, but he usually does an end of season interview, but alas nothing there either. All very quite, from everyone

And not far down the road on the wrong side of the Nene they have raised £1.5 million in a short time via a bond scheme to pay for some further improvements.

I asked him, if they’re surprises how does he know about them? Maybe he’ll post something positive

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-61010401That's the last news I can see published on the matter. TBF the council don't move quickly on much. Until this is sorted then everything else is pretty irrelevant. Is it safe to assume that Cilldara haven't taken the 'considered' legal action? It needs the council to sign, seal and deliver the land to CDNL before anything else comes into play. I suspect we are years away from seeing anything of substance happen. It is pretty embarrassing compared to what is enabled in that new city down the road. They're even churning out minnow teams* that are winning at Wembley. (*some lively local debate on the status of NP in relation to MK, they'll claim anything) Whatever anyone thinks, the council(s) and the club have been the only ones who could make this happen and there is no way we should still be talking about it all these years later. Corruption, incompetence and everything in between.

Not to be cynical but I'm amazed that people are so willing to gamble on the bond offering (keep in mind there's absolutely no guaranteed return on this) given Darragh Macanthony's background with other peoples money (in addition to just generally being an absolute pr***). https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/mortgageshome/article-1692381/Holiday-property-agent-MRI-accused-of-fraud.htmlIf the ROI here was as secure as the literature implies they'd have very little difficulty funding their expansion through traditional means at a lower interest rate. Is my investment protected by a compensation scheme?+ No. An investment in the Peterborough United Bond is not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or any other such scheme. All obligations arising out of or in connection with the Peterborough United Bond will be the sole responsibility of the Issuer. If the Issuer goes out of business or becomes insolvent, you may lose some or all of your investment in the Peterborough United Bond.

Fair play to them, although I'm surprised they have needed to go down that route as they are the epitome of how to run a football club and have made million over million in buying non league players and selling them on.

Only half hearted when I posted this. If it was secure in its returns of 9% as quoted (with promotion bonus of a further 15%) then I’m sure people would be throwing money at it. This at a time when the best east access accounts are about 1.5%.
If memory serves me it was the NHE people also touting the Tifosi bond as a potential funding vehicle.
