Danny Rose has chosen Stevenage although not sure if it was after turning down an offer from Monaco though.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Latest from KT, confirming Council won't sign any legal paperwork until the ACV right to bid issue runs it's course in September...also there still might be a judicial review from Cilldara
So any update from the trust regarding their bid for the land & who will be financing it? I'm sure we've been told numerous times that there are plenty of backers waiting in the wings...

KT interview not particularly revealing but gave a lot of deserved credit to both the club’s community efforts (nice he praised KC for his work on this), and the success of the clubs other teams - both good news items re the club and the wider community Re the Trust and an update, Derek (as far as i know the only Trust board member who regularly contributes to this forum) reasonably asked for a little time and said there would be an update by the end of the month so I think we should respect that request.

Absolutely right. Derek deserves maximum respect given that he has already given a timeline. On a side note it would seem that the club being sold is a load of codswallop. How can anyone get something so black or white so wrong ?

These latest videos are beginning to remind me of the old broom cupboard offerings whereby Gareth used to read a series of scripted questions to DC and fans would lap it all up.
Would it be possible for KT to be interviewed by someone whose not on the club payroll and who may actually ask questions that may prove more enlightening.
Every time I see mr wilshere interviewing I can’t help but think of the Cardoza days and the offerings served up for fans to digest.
I don’t want reminding how that all panned out despite many editions of the Gareth and David show and I’d just be more comfortable with a different interviewer nowadays who doesn’t remind me of the bad old days where interviews were posted even as it was clear to many fans that things were very very wrong behind the scenes.
Gareth just always brings back memories of DC and what followed and I personally don’t want reminding of those times and those interviews.

Perhaps you should interview him. Then you would get your wish for somebody who has absolutely no connection with the club whatsoever doing it. There is absolutely no correlation between the Cardozo fiasco and what has happened under this tenure. Suggesting that any interview conducted by Gareth had any bearing or prior knowledge of the outcome of DC’s time at the club is ridiculous.

That’s an assumption you’ve jumped to, not me. I’m quite aware that we are under different ownership and a different situation even though Gareth is conducting the interviews. If there was any wrongdoing by Gareth it would have come to light in the investigation, It hasn’t, there wasn’t and there never was. That wasn’t the point I was making. MY point is that it REMINDS me of the bad old days and it’s a period of cobblers history that I’d rather forget. No more , no less. Gareth is doing a good job as media officer but I personally get reminded of the bad old days by these style of interviews and I’d rather someone else was interviewing as an understudy to Gareth as a consequence. IMHO the interviews have always been of a very unprofessional nature and I guess that’s a consequence of them now being done via zoom with the chairman living abroad. That said they were also pitiful when they looked to be located in a broom cupboard. I’m no technical wizard but I’d have thought things could have advanced to a more professional level in the years that have passed.

That would depend on who was buying. Imo the club at the moment is in a period of stagnation that most fans are happy with…. A new owner could be much better with more finances or much worse than what’s in place…. Having read stuff about being unable to compete with bigger non league clubs financially it does beg the question how hard the club are trying (if they are) to attract extra investment into the club. That would be interesting to know…

How big is Gareth’s head? Is he related to the legend that is Ali Slowe? On a serious note, congratulations to the club for their community work 👏👏👏

To watch Premiere League football, you’d be queuing up for a ticket with the rest.

Nope, there are a lot better things I can do with £60. Mind you the away sections would be full with fans crossing Sixfields off their 92 list.

Here we go, the if you don't attend you aren't a fan wánker at it again. Premier league football is boring, I'd rather watch lower league without the overpaid prima donnas diving every two minutes.

I wish we were ambitious enough to charge decent money to watch our games. When so called fans complain about paying £20 to watch League Two football they don't realise it's because they will only pay that is why we are stuck in League Two.
