Our family budget is already stretched without paying £3 for something that ends up in the bin.

What else should i do with it?
Store it carefully in season order to be discovered by a young Cobblers fan in years to come. Their bright eyes will gaze upon this magical collection and so will begin a journey of reseach into our glorious past ( ). They will gain wisdom and their expectations will be well reasoned. It's for the kids. Alternatively you could place them in GP surgery waiting rooms. Marginally more exciting than Family Circle

1. Do you buy a programme on Match Days & if so how frequent? Not since about 1989, in fact the first one since then was probably at Anfield a couple of weeks ago.
8. Have you got the programme from the first match you ever attended? Yes, in my loft based collection somewhere.
9. What is the programme that means the most to you? A few Cobblers ones from the early 50's and a mint 1970 2 v 8, signed by George Best.
10. What do you with the programme once you have finished reading it? Put it in the loft. More valuable ones get a plastic sleeve.
Good thread, a reminder to dig some out to stick on Ebay!

Tyro
Could you send me a copy of the finished article / findings to the fanzine too? Will be an interesting read.
Here's my answers too...
1. Do you buy a programme on Match Days & if so how frequent? Rarely now, usually at away games where I haven't been to that ground before or big games.
2. Is our programme Under priced/Over priced or about right? Like everything else in football, over-priced. Although NTFC is in line with other clubs.
3. Is our programme value for money? Sort of, it is a good read.
4.What is your favourite part of the programme? Stats, I love stats.
5. What is the worst part of the programme? A lot of stuff is repeated. If you buy one every game you don't need to know who sponsors what but of course the sponsors wouldn't agree.
6. When/Where do you read the programme most? I don't so much these days. I stopped buying them because I never used to really get time to read them or I'd already read the stuff in the press/online.
7. On away match days do you buy there programme? Sometimes.
8. Have you got the programme from the first match you ever attended? Yes, NTFC v Crewe in 1987
9. What is the programme that means the most to you? Probably the biggies like Wembley and big cup ties.
10. What do you with the programme once you have finished reading it? Put it in a big pile of other programmes dating back many years.
Fanzine are the way forward haha.
