Seeing as Coke is still under 24, I wonder if Motherwell will demand compensation?

How long has Mr Coke's agent got left touting him on alternate sides of the border, pocketing a percentage of the money his new club saves on compensation? Nice work, if you can get it.

He actually scored three in the 'historic' 6-6 draw.

Personally I hope him and his agent end up on the scrap heap this summer....

One could argue though - quite effectively - that his agent has acted in his clients best interest! If he had stayed with us, very unlikely that championship clubs would now be after him....
Thats not to say he isn't a bit of a tosser, but it has to be said that he's come out of it rather well. Unlike Danny Jackman of course!

Isnt their a ruling that means players under 24 who are out of contract can go cross border for no fee.
So if Coke went to a championship club it would cost them nothing, but if he went to Dundee then there would be a fee

That is true. I understand Coke has an option on his contract to remain at Motherwell for another year, and he will sign it but, funnily enough, has lost his pen. The chances of that, eh? Never mind, he'll be back with a new pen after his holiday.
