people saying it was hilarious...why would you say that? is it like cos you think you're being like dead cool about it? why would you f***in say that. it's not funny. me spending a f***in fortune on oxford and ipswich tickets before the game. that's f***in funny. f***.
I just found it funny how we completely collapsed. Like dazza said I try not to let things I can't control bother me. It normally does really bother me when we lose, but the manner in which we did today was hilarious. No its not funny you spent all that money on the tickets, but if it bothers you that much, then why are you supporting cobblers? Surely you know your going to waste a lot of.money watching mainly s*** football? Don't complain and just try to enjoy the ride. Knowing us we'll spank ipswich |

If the team meant nothing I would be watching man utd and chelsea on sky for free rather than spending most of the money I earn watching a league 2 team. Normally us losing ruins my day, but today it was beyond a joke. sometimes you just have to stand back and laugh at how s*** we can.be. |

How much did todays capitulation really bother you?
Or like me did you just think "why the fcuk do I bother"............
After our recent games I have thought 'why did I turn the radio' but today was different going 3-0 up. I think the shock factor is that we can actually play good football, but how can we not even salvage a point from that game, I don't understand. Then again once I got out into the shire air and walked the defeat off it seems like another normal Saturday supporting the town. |

except its not just a normal day.....even by NTFC standards!!
3-0 up against a mangerless team who are rock-bottom of the league, had only scored 6...yes SIX goals in 11 games..... and then they knock in 4 more in 19 minutes against us!
Their local paper website is calling it one of the greatest comebacks in their history.........thats how bad it was/is for NTFC, and that would not be normal for anyone!!

Have to agree fella! All this ''accept the mediocrity'' sh*te strikes me as the ones who live 5 mins away.. trot off back to Kingsthorpe or Duston..home to the wife..slippers on..cup of tea...If football means no more than that...stick to MOTD! |

Beating Cheltenham away with minutes to go, which we lost was my worst cobblers experience in a regular league game and I was totally gutted. I didn't go yesterday but can remember times sitting on the steps at the back of the hotel end in the early 80's, when we were so bad it became amusing. |
