...lets all hope I've got this one wrong.
Come on little lad, you NEVER get one wrong. Eh?

"Andrew Ellis was very much against what was going on. The Cardozas were strictly about business and development so that was him out the door. Andrew Ellis was only ever a football man."

Lose and Sammo out. Kinda think history will repeat itself here after Wilko
Despite everything, hoping next two biggies away (for me anyway!) will be sterling performances..turning it around for Sammo... ...pretty sure though, he'll be resigning (leaving by mutual consent) immediately after Ipswich.

I'm not attending anymore matches other than the ones covered by my s/t. Not going to Ipswich due to holiday and frankly am not bothered. I've had enough of this crap for now.

I'm a supporter, but not a total mug. Last Saturday was the straw that broke the camels back for me.
I'll be delighted if Sammo turns it around, but frankly I can't see it, nor can I see DC doing anything more than taking the club even further backwards in league terms than where it was when he arrived.
I'm not shelling out £20+food+petrol to watch that lot embarrass themselves.

When I don't go....i usually watch a minute by minute teletext of the match on the computer added to Sky Sports News, and the Hotel End posts.
But on this occasion I think I will wait till the end and check how many Oxford score.
The last time I went there our victory virtually doomed Oxford to non - league. Pay back time.
I hope not !

Why are people coming on here and, almost boastfully, informing us they are not going to Oxford as though it is a macho thing to do? Big deal. I doubt that many deserve to be described as "supporters". And please don't bore the pants off us with tales of the day you went to Grimsby, Hartlepool or Carlisle

In which case go and spend your money elsewhere. Or this is a childish cry that you "care" about the Cobblers?

You're opposite point of view is just as daft, maintaining to be a supporter you have to go whatever s***e the team is serving up or however badly the club may treat you. Sometimes staying away is the ONLY way in getting your point across!

You miss the point I am making. If you don't want to go don't, the numbers attending will tell the story. There is no need to tell the world about the stay away. We are where we are and our league position is dreadful. But the staying away by supporters is not going to find funds to sign players or force DC to find an unknown buyer in the midst of a recession with loads of money to spend with no return or is going to make underperforming players suddenly do the business. I am sure there will be a good turn out by Cobblers supporters today despite the self proclaimed absentees. UTC

and you missed the point of the thread, it asked who was going OR NOT? PS: You're also wrong about Cardoza, one of the only ways a businessman will take notice and make changes is when his source of income is affected.

The fans have a voice. The message some of you are giving out loud and clear is
"Hey, do what you want with my club, play as s***e as you like, lose a 3-0 lead to the bottom club in the football league, get us relegated into the Conference. Don't worry, I'll keep paying my money and turning up every week".
Cardoza must love you all.

Grove is spot on.
Only away I've been to this season is Liverpool, and unless things change drastically I'll keep it that way. I shall keep going to home games as I've got a s/t.
Last season I did aways to Bradford, Notts Co, Burton, MK Dons.
As it is I'm fairly happy to pay £8.50 for a home game under my s/t, but things have fallen so far and rapidly that spending lots of time and money on away trips is frankly totally unappealling. I know I'm not the only one, look at our away crowds in the last 2 seasons compared to the last time we were in this division!
