A friend has alerted me to Jamie Forrester's blog. He has currently written two posts about his time at the Cobblers. It's interesting stuff especially his comments about the 2 Kevs.

Blog 1  http://beh1ndthescenes.wordpress.com/2010/10/15/my-time-at-northampton-town-part-1/
Blog 2  http://beh1ndthescenes.wordpress.com/2010/10/28/my-time-at-northampton-town-part-2-off-to-a-flyer/

Apologies if this has been mentioned before.

Very, very interesting articles. I'm sure Jamie is spot on about the Kevins. Who knows what would have happened if the roles had been reversed?...Sadly, we'll never know.

If they are I hope someone's proof reading it!

Is an interesting view though.

Very interesting comments re: tactical acumen of Broadhurst vs Wilson.

Sammo, for me, is a Wilson type: all passion and commitment and not enough tactical know how.  I'm not convinced that he does enough homework on the opposition.

And refreshingly honest about his legs going, and becoming stale, rather than whingeing about his career ending.

They always looked better when Howard played with them...another good player slagged off by so many Cobblers fans until it was too late and he was off to Luton.

The look on the Cambridge keeper's face as Gabbiadini's shot comes back off the bar is priceless.

The Afternoon we announced Forrester, Gabbiadini & Hargreaves was the last time a signing got me excited although signing John Johnson came the closest to it since, more out of surprise rather than shock.

The day we signed Doig, Tylor, Dyche and Jess was exciting. Cant see those days coming back anytime soon
