That's REALLY funny! You'd die laughing if you knew what I was paid. As a per-hour amount I can assure you it works out considerably less than the minimum hourly wage for an 18-year-old, then by the time I pay out the considerable expenses of what I do, that becomes a massive loss. The point is that when I write about the Cobblers, the motivation is the love of doing it, and I'm happy with that.
Incidentally, I have no criticism of anyone who employs me, but I do of people who make assumptions as to my income.

Ahh but you have been critcal of the BBC ,  Grin

On the Jelly Tots? no just wine gums! I am now a new volunteer for club on fund-raising and only joined this fans-site last night, so forgive me, I'm just learning the ropes. I answered several Questions at once that's all. As ntfc_dan asks: look out for programmes and 50:50 tickets, hopefully someone will be in Sixfields Tavern and in ground booths as you suggest. So feedback implemented immediately. Please keep positive thoughtful contributions flowing. Person who mentioned Macc article send to club too please? Volunteers still wanted.

The BBC are not my employers. When they were I was openly critical of one bad manager, but that is the past (8 years ago) not the present. I chose to leave that radio station because of my beliefs, and I have never regretted it. The specific argument here was about someone trying to guess my income and getting it totally wrong, although quite what right they have to make such assumptions beats me! It's all so easy to be offensive while you remain anonymous. Cowardice rules.

If i see a 50:50 seller actively promoting, then i will buy one.

Are you doing this for the club or for the trust, and how much influence will you have on any ideas we give to be put into practice? If true then it's a positive move by the club but only if they listen and  act on the ideas. Perhaps as SR say's you should make your self known as if your working for the club you should have nothing to hide

I started part-time volunteer with club on Monday with project to re-launch 50:50 / lottery schemes. Also asked to look into other commercial areas such as Matchday experience, Programmes sales etc. I sent in official few ideas 2 weeks ago, some to Chron and club articles too. So yes I report to club. I will reveal identity no problem but wanted to try using this site under pseudonym first as I'm on trial!  I understand this site can get 'edgy' and cyber-posts can be easily mis-contrued! Apologies to anyone offended or mislead by me - not intential. Genuine fan here, season ticket holder 14 years.

Not offended mate, was just wandering if you were for real or not. Well done for doing something positive. Perhaps you just need to stay away from certain topics, then you cant get into trouble

Thanks for your support, yep agreed balancing between certain topics, official club duties and my personal thoughts will be tricky road ahead. We'll I'm missing my pint for once and off to work at club now! Three points please. This may cross with another post being submitted now.

Feed back on today would be good!

Was everyone who wanted a 50:50 ticket able to get one?

Was anyone on here a winner?

Any improvements you can recommend?

By the way.. The winning ticket was sold by myself in the tavern! So congrats whoever it was!

You Seemed to sell quite a few in the tavern, I got one off you but didn't win (was 10 numbers out). If you keep doing it in there than i will probably keep buying one every game.

What was the prize total btw?

Didn't notice any difference in programme sellers, and there wasn't one in the tavern

What's the deal with the booths that used to be used for the betting? Are they going to be used again or just left there?

the total prize was £144.50 which is good! we more than doubled the past efforts, and all we had to do was get in an amoungst the fans and make an effort!

The tavern will become a regular spot for me, selling tickets obviously not drinking my favoured tipple Wink

And in regards to the programme seller up at the tavern, this will be happening, we just need another couple of helpers. if not i will try to be carrying a few to help your programme needs!

Next home game lets try get the cash pot up to £250-300!!! Smiley

It's not rocket sicence is it, shame the club couldn't work that one out on their own.

Well done anyway, hope you carry on the good work.

Where do people want to see tickets being sold? Do you want specific places, or people milling around selling them? If you werent able to buy them outside, would you buy them inside the ground?
