Quite why people are so keen to kiss his arse is beyond me.

Now I've got a mental picture of that and I haven't had my supper yet.

Why did you do that?

Some fat f*** that thought he was better than NTFC. Quite why people are so keen to kiss his arse is beyond me. In my view they can piss off.

I havent, and wont start kissing his arse but you know things are bad when the likelihood is he'll get a better reception than our actual players tomorrow

He's No Hero, certainly No NTFC Legend.......the question is "Will he celebrate when he scores tomorrow?".

I would have thought his two goals at Bolton which provided us with an away win against a Premiership club push him towards being a legend. Also that he was so well loved by the fans. Not quite in the Grayson cult mode, but not far off.

Chris Freestone scored against West Ham, he isn't a legend.

No, because he did **** all else. Bayo scored plenty of goals for us and I guess that his goal/games ratio is better than anyone else bar Forrester since we moved to Sixfields. (I'm happy to be corrected if this is wrong!)

Better correct myself: JF 39 goals in 112 league matches; Bayo 37 in 88! Perhaps McGleish had a better record...

McGleish 43 in 120. Then I think that makes Bayo our most successful goals per game striker since the County Ground, doesn't it?

The morons are the ones who have turned on Bayo for no reason. He didn't "think he was better than NTFC", we let go of him, not the other way round, and he came back to Sixfields to see if our offer was still on the table before joining Gillingham. He gave it his all here and battled through the pain barrier for the shirt and for the fans- he deserves nothing but our respect. I have a feeling some idiots will boo him tomorrow- probably the same faces who booed Guttridge at Aldershot earlier this season for no good reason- and I don't see what he's done to merit it.

And whats he done to merit the ridiculous cheering hes going to get tomorrow from all the morons that frequent the ground? f*** him. He's no longer our problem and our own players need the support more than he does

He was offered more money than any other player at this club - by some way as well and felt he was still worth more. This to a club that had already paid him for probably at least a good third of his time here for sitting in the stands. We owe him nothing.

Apart from a bit of respect. Our best goalscorer - statistics show - since we left the County Ground. What's wrong with a round of applause before the match, followed by getting behind our own side?

Fine by me.

He isn't a legend though.

It seems both strange and offensive to describe fellow supporters as 'retards'.

Bayo thought he could possibly get a better deal at a League One or Championship club, or find a club closer to his family in South London, so wanted to check that out before commiting to another couple of seasons with us. Either way he would have been doing what's right by his family, which you can't argue with really. We chose to withdraw the offer so we had plenty of notice to get another player in.

No, we don't owe him anything but by the same score he owes us nothing. We paid him handsomely and arguably rescued his career and he rewarded us by being our most prolific striker since the County Ground days. I'm not just going to clap him mindlessly like a seal tomorrow like the "retards" you refer to Tyler, or give him any more backing than any of our current players, but he will get a cheer from me when his name is read out before kick-off and the more abuse he gets from the equally "retarded" morons that boo him, the louder I will cheer. Okay with you?

It'll be modified.

I doubt it'll just be clapping before kick off. I've known people to be clapping like seals even during the game. Wouldnt surprise me if a few idiots even celebrate if he scores!

He's a Gilligham player and he will be trying to score the goal that beats us and who knows, costs Sammo his job.

Why on earth should anybody applaud him?

We owe him nothing, he was an employee of the club, nothing more, nothing less. He's gone now, forget him.
